FAQ’s:
Where can I go to find out about Burn Bans and Drought information?
- Stage 1 Burn Ban started on June 1st. This ban prohibits land clearing and yard debris burning in unincorporated Pierce County until further notice. For additional information: https://www.piercecounywa.gov/982/Outdoor-Burning
- There is a Drought emergency declared. For additional information including a Drought Map: https://www.drought.gov/states/washington/county/pierce
If you think it won’t happen to you, consider that someone on the KP already lost a shed this month due to burning yard debris.
