Timely News:
Digital Skills Class – A Digital Literacy program Wednesday, December 17, 1:00pm-4:00pm at The Key Center Library.
PTSD/ADHD Support Group, Wednesday, December 17, 3:00pm at Key Peninsula Community Services (KPCS). This group is not meant to be therapy or to diagnose/treat but is for peer support.
The Mustard Seed Project Café will be serving soup only on December 22 & 23. The Café will be closed on December 29 & 30
The Key Free Clinic Thursday, December 18 will be open from 4:30pm-7:00pm at the KP Community Council Office in the Key Center Corral. Check in from 4:30pm-5:00PM.
Upcoming Key Peninsula Events:
3 Schools, 1 Community CARNIVAL (Evergreen, Vaughn, Minter Creek PTA) Saturday, January 24, 12:00pm-5:00pm. They are looking for business, groups, and organizations who would like to host a booth with games. And they are looking for volunteers to help with setup/take down. Holidays in the Harbor:

Holiday Village at Ancich Park Sunday, December 20, 10:00am-6:00pm. Will be held inside the Ancich Netshed at the Ancich Waterfront Park. Take pictures in one of the six holiday-themed photo displays. Free photos with Sants on December 20, 21 and 22 from 12:00pm-2:30pm.
Lighted Car Parade December 20, 5:00pm along Harborview Drive in the waterfront district. The parade leaves Uptown at 5:00pm and goes through the downtown waterfront district.

We are taking the next 2 weeks off from submitting an Update. The next Update will be sent on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

- There is some new buzz around the old Reeds/Callahan property in Key Center, can you clarify?
- We can try to clarify-
- This property, currently owned by the Fire Dept and in the process of being sold, is going through feasibility reviews by the agreed buyer. The buyer has proposed a new gas station and mini-mart for the site.
- If you want to find information from the Fire Dept, some information is available at their site at HOME | Key Peninsula Fire
- At the last Fire Department Town Hall, a group of local citizens asked the Fire Dept to consider selling to them instead to create a community center.
