Home is Where the Art is, Community performance at KP Community Services Thursday, August 27 from 1:00pm-2:00pm.

Food 4 All’s Cooperative Farm Stand Saturday, August 29 10:00am-2:00pm. Proceeds benefit programs and Farm partners. Located at 9127 154th Ave Ct NW, Lakebay.

Farmers’ Market at Sunnycrest Nursery Saturday, August 29 10:00am-3:00pm/

End of Summer Dance at Longbranch Improvement Club Saturday, August 29 7:30pm-11:00pm. Timeless Rock, Soul & Funk with Tim Enders Band. Full bar available, no outside beverages, outside food is okay. Minors accompanied by an adult. Under 14 not recommended.

Upcoming Key Peninsula Events:

Two Waters Arts Alliance presents Art Walk 2026 Saturday, September 5, 10:00am-6:00pm. Now at the Key Peninsula Civic Center. Indoor and Outdoor Art Booths, live music, children’s activities, food, beer & wine. Registration is now open for vendors. Opening Minds through Art (OMA) – Art Show and reception at the Crandall Center Thursday, September 10, 5:00pm-6:00pm. People living with dementia (artists) are paired with volunteers to create art focused on imagination and remaining skills instead of memory and lost skills. Art created by elders living at The Mustard Seed Village.

 

Visit Gig Harbor is seeking local businesses, locations, and community members to participate in their upcoming professional photo and video shoot on September 23rd and 24th throughout Greater Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula. Thanks in part to grant funding from the Port of Seattle and Pierce County, participating businesses will receive access to selected professional photos and video assets free of charge for use in their own marketing. Activities off the Key Peninsula:

Tacoma Narrows Airport Day Saturday, August 29. Gates open at 9:00am, with a welcome at 9:30 am and activities running from 10:00am – 4:00pm. This is a FREE, family friendly event where you can get up close to the operations and activities at the Tacoma Narrows Aiport. Visit airport businesses, honor our military, visit displays and booths, and try STEM activities for kids.

Kiwanis Club of Gig Harbor’s Mini Golf Fundraiser Saturday, August 29. The 4th Annual Kiwanis Mini Golf FUNdraiser will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the mini golf course in front of PenMet Parks Headquarters at 2416 14th Ave NW in Gig Harbor. Attendees will enjoy a round of Mini Golf, Raffle Baskets, a free hot dog lunch, and prizes! There will be three shotgun starts: 10:00am (check in by 9:30am), 12:00pm (check in by 11:30am), 2:00pm (check in by 1:30pm). $20 per person, $70 per foursome, $15 for children 12 and under

Proceeds go to Kiwanis community service projects.

Professional Learning Program 12:00pm-4:30pm, Community Connection & Suicide Prevention Program 4:30pm-6:00pm, Bridge to Hope 5K walk/run across Narrows Bridge 6:15pm. Is there a way I can look up my children(s) or my Immunization record myself?

Yes

Sign up for MyIR Mobile by going to https://myirmobile.com and follow the registration instructions. Your registration information will be used to match your records with the state immunization registry. You will be sent a verification code on your phone to finalize the process. Once registration is complete, you’ll be able to view your immunization records, Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) and access your COVID-19 vaccination certificate. You can also add any of your children under age 18 or even a pet.
