Key Center Library: Wednesday, April 22 – Story Time for Babies 10:15am-11:15am, Unicorn and Yeti – a Ready Reader program 4:00pm-5:00pm; Thursday, April 23 – Story Time for Mixed Ages 11:15am-12:15pm, Rock Painting -a Teen Creative Space program 3:00pm-4:30pm; Friday, April 24– Play Time 1:00pm-2:00pm.

DOL 2 Go will be at KP Community Services Wednesday, April 22, 10:00am-2:00pm. Get a first time Washington ID, renew or replace you driver license. No appointment necessary. Credit and Debit only. No testing available.

Charlotte the Community Health worker with KP Partnership will be at KP Community Services Wednesday, April 22 at 12:00pm to help navigate and connect resources.

KP Kids meeting on Thursday, April 23 at 10:00am at Red Barn Youth Center.

KP Community Council – Coffee Hour Thursday, April 23, 11:00am. Speaker will be Bruce Murray on behalf of Pierce County Parks.

Beginning Belly Dancing 5-week workshop at The Mustard Seed Project Thursdays, April 23-May 21 from 3:00pm-4:00pm. $50 workshop or $10 per class. Call (253) 884-9814 or email tmspinfo@themustardseedproject.org to sign-up.

Key Pen It Clean Roadside Litter Cleanup Saturday, April 25, 10:00am-12:00pm. They will meet at the Evergreen Elementary School parking lot to hand out safety vests, litter grabbers, trash bags, and road assignments. Please bring close-toed, sturdy footwear and work gloves. Volunteers must be in good health and at least 15 years old. First-timers are always welcome.

KP Partnership for a Healthy Community will be facilitating another conversation about oral health in Pierce County at KP Lutheran Church on Monday, May 4 at 5:30pm. Dinner will be provided. Livable Community Fair will be Saturday, May 9 at KP Civic Center, 10:00am-3:00pm. Non-profits & Community service organizations as well as local businesses sign-up early to host a booth. Activities off the Key Peninsula:

Gig Harbor Sports Fields Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Ceremony Friday, April 24, 5:00pm-6:00pm. Please join the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties and the City of Gig Harbor to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the Gig Harbor Sports Fields. The new Sports Fields will bring the community together through play, wellness, and connection. This event is FREE and open to the public. Healthy Kids Event at Tom Taylor YMCA in Gig Harbor Saturday, April 25, 10:00am-1:00pm. This event is focused on healthy living with fun activities, music, and games as well as vendors sharing helpful information. Family friendly event with children of all ages.

Burley Lagoon Litter Cleanup by Ocean Blue Corp Saturday, April 25, 11:00am-2:00pm. Volunteers will meet near Bridgeway Market to clean up Purdy Creek to Purdy Drive, Burley Lagoon along 302 and the west shore from 302 to the island, time permitting. For more information email criver88@gmail.com
