Robyn Denson will be holding a “Smoothie with Robyn” at SERVE (business in Key Center) tomorrow, Thursday, April 25, from 9 to 10 a.m.
Join us at the KP Community Council’s monthly “Coffee Hour” tomorrow from 11:00 to noon in the KP Community Office in the Key Center Corral.
The KP Kid’s Meeting is tomorrow, April 25th, at 11:00 at The Mustard Seed Project. This month’s discussion will be about how to cover the gaps left by AKIN shutting down the Children’s Home Society/KP Family Resource Center.
The KP Partnership Relatives Raising Kids group is changing their meeting days and locations starting tomorrow. The new meeting day will be the 4th Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm and the new meeting place will be the KP Lutheran Church. Contact Lori at childcare@kphealthycommunity.org for more information.
KP Community Services has their free tables open again starting this Friday at 10:00.
Food Backpacks 4 Kids is looking for individuals, families, and groups to help them build their new program, Food 4 All. Join them for “Farm Fridays” (every Friday) or “Growing Community Saturdays” (last Saturday of the month). Next opportunity to help: Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27th

What is the difference between a behavioral health emergency and a behavioral health crisis?
- According to a flyer put out by the City of Tacoma’s HOPE program (https://www.cityoftacoma.org/cms/one.aspx?pageId=245576)
- A behavioral health emergency is a life-threatening and emergent need for behavioral health related help. Help is provided in-person and may include medical care. Callers should call 911 to request help.
- A behavioral health crisis is a non-life-threatening and urgent need for behavioral health related help. Help may be provided over the phone or in-person. Callers should use national or regional crisis and suicide numbers.
- Suicide and Crisis lifeline, dial or text 988
