Timely News:

The Key Center Library will be having Story Time for Babies Wednesday, February 4: 10:15am-11:15am; Story Time for Mixed Ages Thursday, February 5: 11:15am-12:15pm; Teen Creative Space – Dragon Egg Thursday, February 5: 3:00pm – 4:30pm; Play Time Friday, February 6: 1:00pm-2:00pm.

Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) Mobile Medical will be KP Community Services (KPCS) Wednesday, February 4, 1:00pm-3:00pm. Walk-ins welcome, but appointment recommended. https://www.PCHSweb.org

The Key Free Clinic on Thursday, February 5 will be open from 4:30pm-7:00pm at the KP Community Council Office in the Key Center Corral. Check in from 4:30pm-5:00PM

Life After Loss Support group at The Mustard Seed Project (TMSP) is at 12:00pm on Monday, February 9.

Tacoma Pro-Bono will be at KPCS Tuesday, February 10, 10:00am-12:00pm, and at TMSP 1:00pm-3:00pm.

DSHS will also be at KP Community Services on Tuesday, February 10 at 10:00am.

Open Mic Café at Longbranch Improvement Club Tuesday, February 10 at 6:30pm. All ages welcome.

Upcoming Key Peninsula Events:

Key Peninsula Lions Club – Citizen of the Yeat Celebration, Saturday, March 14 at KP Civic Center. Doors open 5:00pm, Dinner 6:00pm. Keynote Speaker – Larry Seaquist. Tickets are $35.

Activities off the Key Peninsula:

Chamber Night Out at Galaxy Theatre Gig Harbor IMAX featuring the Gig Harbor Film Festival. Beer, wine, and light snacks will be provided. Receive a tour of projection where you can discover how movies arrive at Galaxy and how the industry has evolved from physical film to hard drives. This event will also feature Pamela Holt with Gig Harbor Film Festival who will be sharing some short films from the 2025 festival and give some insight on the festival itself. Tickets for this event are $10 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members. Registration will close when this event is sold out. Safe Streets is a community-based nonprofit that has worked in Pierce County since 1989 to build safe, healthy, and thriving neighborhoods. The organization brings together residents, local leaders, and organizations to strengthen connections, reduce violence, and create positive opportunities for youth and families. With a focus on grassroots organizing, Safe Streets supports neighbors in identifying challenges and working collectively on solutions that make their communities stronger.
