The Key Free Clinic on Thursday, October 16 will be open from 4:30pm-7:00pm at the KP Community Council Office in the Key Center Corral. Check in is from 4:30pm-5:00PM.

Harvest Fest at Miracle Ranch October 17-19 and 24-26. Free admission and Parking. There will be some free and affordable family-friendly activities (hay wagon rides, carnival games, hay maze to name a few) and delicious food. Please do not bring pets with you.
All Hallows Eve-Monster Bash brought to you by Key Pen Parks Saturday, October 18, 2:00pm-5:00pm at Gateway Park. Wear a costume to win a prize. There will be inflatables, games, crafts, a DJ party dance, FREE cotton candy & popcorn, Orca call contest, and food for purchase.
Second Annual Madrona Fest Saturday, October 18, 12:00pm-9:00pm at Key Peninsula Civic Center. They will have vendors starting at 12:00pm, contra dance, workshops, farm to festival menu, and bands set to begin performing at 4:00pm. They will also have their FIRST photography contest! Pierce County Aging and Disability Resources is hosting a new series of the popular “Oh My Gosh – Now What?” seminar beginning Wednesday, October 1. This is a six-part series of discussions designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia, families, caregivers, and others focusing on the journey of memory loss. These will be held each Wednesday 12:30pm-1:30pm at Gig Harbor Senior Center at Lutheran Church October 1 through November 5. October 15th is Shock and Grief; How do we express our worries? Do you know about the Energy Assistance Program (EAP)?
The Energy Assistance Program pays heating bills directly to utility companies for eligible applicants. Payments are based on eligible household’s fuel usage for the past 12 months and income.
This program is for Pierce County residents outside the city limits of Tacoma. Don’t wait until the threat of shut-off, apply today. You can apply online at: 2025-2026 Energy Assistance Program Application or call (253) 798-4328
