Timely News:

Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) Mobile Medical will be at KP Community Services (KPCS) Wednesday, April 1, 1:00pm-3:00pm. Walk-ins welcome, but appointment recommended. https://www.PCHSweb.org

A SHIBA, Medicare Advisor, with PCHS at KP Community Services will also be there on Wednesday, April 1 at 11:30am.

Also, at KPCS, ADHD/PTSD Support Group every Thursday 3:00pm-4:00pm. This is a judge-free space with peer support and helpful strategies.

Foot Care Clinic at The Mustard Seed Project Thursday, April 2, 11:00am. Call to reserve your appointment today, 253-884-9814. Need a ride? Call to reserve a ride on their wheelchair accessible shuttle.

Key Center Library: Thursday, April 2 – Dragon Eye -a Teen drop-in program, 3:00pm-4:30pm; Friday, April 3 – Friends of the Key Center Library Meeting, 10:00am-12:00pm; Monday, April 6 – Tacoma Pro-Bono, Legal Aid Pop-Up, 2:00pm-4:00pm.

Full County Council In-District Meeting at the Key Peninsula Civic Center on Thursday, April 2 at KP Civic Center! Community resources and information tables from Pierce County departments and local partners will be available from 4:30–5:30 PM, with the council meeting beginning at 5:30 PM. The theme of the evening is State of the Key Peninsula — covering all things that impact the Key Peninsula community. This is a great opportunity to connect directly with county staff, learn about services and projects, and share your questions and ideas.

Super Sale at Longbranch Improvement Club Saturday, April 11, 9:00am-3:00pm. Sell your stuff at the biggest sale of the year or donate. Help a good cause and give your collectables and clean/usable castoffs. They will even pick up. Indoor tables $50, outdoor spaces $25, space is limited. KP Middle School PTSA’s 2nd annual Spring Market Saturday, May 30, 9:00am-3:00pm. They are looking for a variety of business and nonprofit organizations.  Vendor spots are $30, registered non-profits may be eligible for a 50% discount. For additional information: email KPCougars@gmail.com

Activities off the Key Peninsula:

Spring Egg Hunt Saturday, April 4, 10:00am-2:00pm at Sehmel Homestead Park. Hop into spring with this festive family event that is perfect for all ages. They offer four egg hunt sessions lasting one hour each, including adaptive sessions for egg hunters of all abilities. Join for this egg-citing event and commemorate the season through photos with Peter Cottontail! Free event. For all ages.

Gig Harbor’s 2nd Annual Fool’s Run Saturday, April 4, 5:00pm-8:00pm. Hop Pharm (across the street form the Chamber office, 3125 Judson ST, Gig Harbor, 98335) is the Fools Run 5K Celebration Station, the official pre- and post-race gathering spot for all runners, spectators, and fun-seekers!
