Key Center Library: Wednesday, May 20 – Story Time for Babies 10:15am-11:15am, Pete the Cat Book Party! – a Ready Reader Program 4:00pm-5:00pm; Thursday, May 21 – Story Time for Mixed Ages 11:15am-12:15pm; Friday, May 22 – Play Time 1:00pm-2:00pm; Saturday, May 23 – Eyelash Yarn Lei Workshop – a Teen Creative Space program 12:00pm-1:30pm.
Vets and Friends Coffee at Key Peninsula Community Services (KPCS) Wednesday, May 20, 1:00pm. Go for Coffee, snacks, and conversation.

Public Safety Committee Thursday, May 21 at 5:30pm-7:30pm at Key Center Fire Station.
Memorial Day Dance at Longbranch Improvement Club Saturday, May 23, 7:30pm-11:00pm featuring Tim Enders Band. Tickets $20 online and $25 at the door. Under 21 tickets for $15. Memorial Day Remembrance; Sunday, May 24, 1:00pm at Vaughn Cemetery. Refreshments, speakers, bagpiper, singing, 3 shot cannon salute. Over 355 large flags flying in a beautiful area.

Thriving Generation brings you – Raising Kids in the Smartphone Age: Creating Healthy Boundaries for Thriving Families Thursday, May 28, 6:30pm-8:00pm at The Red Barn Youth Center. Parents will leave with: A clear understanding of what research says about screens and teen mental health, Practical routines for reducing conflict at home, Age-appropriate guidelines for phones and social media, A simple framework for creating healthy boundaries, Ideas to help teens build a life bigger than their screen. 2026 Students of Distinction Awards Dinner and Ceremony Wednesday, May 20 5:30pm-8:00pm at Ocean 5. Celebrate and support graduating seniors from Gig Harbor, Peninsula, and Henderson Bay high schools. This event honors students for leadership, academics, athletics, creativity, service, perseverance, and more while providing scholarship support for future education. “Feast and Honor” 5-course African Food and Wine Paring Event Saturday, May 23 5:30pm-8:00pm at Gig Harbor Yacht Club. Join Mvinyo Winery and Nelly’s African Kitchen for a Memorial Day Feast honoring Veteran Heroes. Memorial Day Ceremony Monday, May 25 10:00am-11:00am at Artondale Ceremony. All are welcome. Including a band, honor guard, color guard, and others.
