The KP Civic Center Emergency Preparedness Group will be hosting their monthly event tomorrow, Thursday, March 21st from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the KP Civic Center. This month’s topic will be options for emergency communications. Free!

The Key Free Clinic is scheduled for the first and third Thursdays of each month, which is tomorrow, March 21st, at the KP Community Office in Key Center, starting at 4:30 pm.
This Saturday, March 23rd, is the “Gig Harbor has Talent” show hosted by the GH Kiwanis Club. The event will be held at Swift Water Elementary School (near the YMCA), doors open at 2:00.
The Mustard Seed Project (along with the LIC and TWAA) will be hosting an “Open Mic Cafe” this Saturday, March 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the their location in Key Center.

Food Backpacks 4 Kids is hosting a food drive on March 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and on March 30th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Items most in need are: canned spaghetti sauce, canned mixed veggies, refried beans, granola bars, canned soups, canned tuna, instant potatoes, and fruit cups.
The Mustard Seed Project is starting a KP Book Club. The first book is “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Harari. Discussion of the book will take place on April 25th at 11:00 am at the Crandall Center. For more information, go to: https://www.facebook.com/events/656455886566504/
The KP Community Council will start hosting monthly “Fourth Thursday Coffee Hours” next week on March 28th. This month’s special guest will be Council Person Robyn Denson. Come drink coffee and chat with her and other community members at noon at the KP Community office in the Key Center Corral.
The KP Civic center is selling tickets for the annual Crab Feed, this year on April 6th fro 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at various businesses around the area or at: https://www.kpciviccenter.org/
