The KP Council is meeting tomorrow, April 11th at 6:30 pm (social at 6:00) at the Key Center Fire Station.  Guest speaker this month is David Leger, a beekeeper.  This meeting is also available virtually at:

Key Pen Parks is hosting a “Craft Time” this Saturday, April 13th at 10:00 am at Gateway Park Pavilion.  Come and make gnomes! For more information, go to:

The Key Center Library is hosting a book sale this Saturday, April 13th, from 10:00 to 4:00.  For more information, go to:

The KP Business Association is doing a road clean-up this Saturday, April 13th from 9:00 to noon.  All are welcome to help, meet at Home Park.

The Mustard Seed Project will be hosting a screening of an informative webinar “How to Navigate MyChart” at the Crandall Center at 1:30 next Monday, April 15th.  For more information, go to:

KP Business & Organization Info

The KP Emergency Prep group will be holding a CPR training on Thursday, April 18th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the KP Civic Center. Training is free unless you want a certificate/CPR card, in which case it will be $40 (cash) at the door.

Robyn Denson will be holding a “Smoothie with Robyn” at SERVE  (business in Key Center) on Thursday, April 25, from 9 to 10 a.m.

KeyPen it Clean group will be hosting a community-wide clean-up day on May 4th starting at 9:00 am.  Dumpsters will be available in 3 places, Lake Katheryn Village, Longbranch Improvement Club, and at 64th ST NW and KP Hwy.  To find out more and see what will be accepted, go to:

Key Pen Parks and Red Barn Youth Center are hosting a movie night on Thursday, April 18th, at 6:00 pm at Red Barn.  The movie will be, “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” – Free!

Skate Night organizers are running a competition for a new logo.  Anyone can enter a design; entry deadline is June 7th.  See FAQs for more information.


The Peninsula School District is hiring bus drivers, and the next bus driver training class starts on Monday, May 6. No experience is required, paid training and benefits are provided. The upcoming paid 40 hour class covers all laws, rules and regulations that govern student transportation.
